The Nutcracker at The O2 Information

Description

Get swept up in the enchantment of Christmas with one of the most popular family shows of all time. Widely regarded as the finest production ever, of Tchaikovsky's best-loved ballet, Sir Peter Wright's inspired version of The Nutcracker for Birmingham Royal Ballet comes to The O2 this December, introduced by Joe McElderry singing songs from his magical album 'Classic Christmas'.

After sneaking downstairs at midnight to play with her new Nutcracker doll, Clara magically finds herself in a fantasy of toy soldiers, giant rats, snow fairies and magic before she is finally transformed into a beautiful ballerina.

From 27 to 30 December 2011 Victor Hochhauser and The O2 in association with Universal Music Arts and Entertainment will present six magical performances of Sir Peter Wright’s world acclaimed interpretation of the Christmas classic.
